Mac has never been the best when she's not in complete comfort and while she didn't bitch when she was embedded because she had a job to do, she's back on the island after having been in air conditioning for three days and she's annoyed. It's irrational, but nothing about pregnancy is rational, is it?

"No," Mac says quietly. "I just want to please you in the best way I know how." It's sort of what this is all about but not quite.

"I know that, darlin'," he says, leaning down to take hold of her chin with one hand so he can turn her face to his and kiss her.

The kiss is a little unexpected and Mac kisses him back eagerly, wanting as much contact as she can get since her vision is cut off from her.

"I think," he murmurs, his lips brushing against hers, "That probably the most instructive thing I can do with you in this situation, those gentlemen watching and all, is focus on your ass. That might be the thing that makes you feel lowest."

Mac nods. "I think that would be, yeah. I think that's going to bring me down as low as you can bring me."
